Catching one of those CUTE moments

Do you ever have one of the moments where you glance over at your child and you think..."Oh my goodness, that is so cute...HURRY grab the camera."? We had one of those moments on our way home from Grandma's house tonight. Grandma Debbie gave Peyton a Cabbage Patch Doll that was one of her kids when they were growing up. Peyton ADORES it. We didn't realize how much she adored until we glanced back in the car and she was snuggling it and kissing it the whole home. So precious!!

4 Amazing years with my little buddy

Logan is FOUR!! I can hardly believe it or stand it. It feels like he was just a little newborn in my arms. Logan has really been such a joy to be a mommy to. He is super passionate and excited about LIFE in general. His perky spirit rubs off on us all.
Last night when we were talking about his Birthday being today, he looked at me with sad eyes and hugged me and said, "Mommy, I am sorry I am growing up." I told him that's okay. That I will always be his mommy, no matter how old or big he gets. That made him feel better.
He also told me the other day, that when he grows up and moves out, He is going to marry Pey Pey. Now that right there melted this mama's heart. He is such a sweetie pie.
We are celebrating his Birthday on Saturday with a Black Spiderman Bubble Birthday party with lots of Family and Friends joining us. He kept saying to me that today is his "actual" Birthday and he is excited for his Birthday Party on Saturday.
(we let him open a present early...his Black Spiderman costume...don't be surprised if he wears it to his party Saturday ya'll)

The kids can't get enough of the pool and the beach was beyond words...BEAUTIFUL!. Warm wind, warm sand, excited kids.....perfect first Fall day. I'll take it;)

Cuddle Bug

Now you know that my schedule has slowed down when I actually blog more then one time in a week! I am so loving my schedule. The kids and I have done so many activities this week, I can't even name them all! It's been so awesome!!
The other night, we were relaxing after dinner and Peyton crawled up to daddy and reached for him. She just relaxed and laid down on him. Now those of you who know my family, know that my kids just don't do this. They NEVER sit still. The Lord only blessed me with super active kids, not mellow ones. So I had to run and grab my camera to snatch a picture of this because it was so cute;) It didn't last long, but daddy sure felt honored that Peyton wanted to cuddle on him.

Bling Bling Baby

Isn't it BEAUTIFUL????!!!!????!!!! My original wedding band and wedding ring was the bottom ring with diamonds and the super pretty diamond cut ring. Jason surprised me with the second band with all the diamonds on our 5 year anniversary July 24. It is finally all put together and the whole set was redipped in white gold. I got it back a few weeks ago and it was to big so I had to resend it in and it fits like a glove now:) I love it! THANK YOU JASON! You did good!!

Sometimes is takes a child

On Friday morning, my kids and I ran down to Pacific City to do one of my jobs of the week. On our way down, we saw LOTS of American Flags. Especially when we crossed the bridge in PC. It was covered in them. Logan noticed this and asked what all the flags were for. I told him I wasn't sure, and not remembering the date at the time, I told him I would find out and tell him later. On our way home, it dawned on me the it was Sept. 11. So, I began to tell Logan the story of what happened 4 years before he was born. He was in awe of the story, especially the brave heros of that day and was saddened for those that died. I told him the story probably 4 times when he stopped me and said, "Mommy...we should pray for all the people from 9/11." I smiled at him and with a tears in my eyes, we prayed for the families of those that lost loved ones and for those who survived. Sometimes it takes a child to help us busy adults stop and pray for those in need. I wanted to share this SONG with u. Listen to the words. It really touches your heart.
