I can't believe I got an award!!!

My blogger friend Abbie gave me this super neat award!!! Of course she gave it to me because we are totally in the same stage with our little toddlers and we are both going to be giving birth at some point in the next 3 months:) I think I am like 5 weeks ahead of Abbie...don't quote me though! This is a super neat award because it is supposed to help raise awareness for organ donation!! All you ladies and men need to consider this and get it put on your license!
I am going to pass this award on to two people:
http://jessijobarber.blogspot.com/ Jessi: because she is ready to give birth to her first baby girl!!! I am so excited for her and I am even more excited for her, because that gets me closer to my date;)
And secondly...I pass this award on to Sarah:http://motziemom.blogspot.com/ because she is a super good friend and she scrubs toilets with me at least two days a week! You rock Sarah!!
Keep this award going ladies;)

Keeping my Spiritual Life Watered during the warm dry summer!

I have been trying so hard to be in God's word everyday! It seems to be a struggle for me because I am so busy. I get up in the morning and either have buckets to wash, houses to clean, a little man who needs me, or my home projects! BUT...when I go through a dry spell of not being in God's word...boy can I ever tell. Especially in my attitude towards others and my love for others. I have been trying to read first thing in the morning! So far it is working!:) This morning's daily bread was sooooo good for me to read. I wanted to share the verses that were a long with it! They are very convicting and very much what I needed to read this morning! If anyone else is interested in checking out the daily bread devotional, I do it online! http://www.rbc.org/odb/odb.shtml

"Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. 4Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.
5Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: 6Who, being in very nature[a] God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, 7but made himself nothing, taking the very nature[b] of a servant, being made in human likeness. 8And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death— even death on a cross! 9Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, 10that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." Philippians 2: 3-11
