I don't know how I am going to fill my evenings after next week!!!!!!!!!!!!

So this week one of my favorite shows ended. The Biggest Loser! I LOVE THIS SHOW. I know you all hear it from me all the time! BUT I love to watch people take control of their lives and make the change they need too! These people start at weights 250 all the way up to 450 pounds. They inspire me!! This year was just awesome. The winner this year was Helen! She lost 140 pounds! She lost ME!!! I think that is incrediable! AND...to top that off, she is 48!!! 48 people! No more excuses right?? 48 and she did it. THEN to top that off, the at home winner was Jerry...64 years old and lost 177 pounds!!! I was sooooo stinkin' proud of these two, you would have thought they were my family!!!

Now this week, American Idol will end! I know everyone was very disappointed in Danny going home but I just about jumped up in the air when I heard Kris was still on!!! I am such a fan!!!! Of course, I made the silly mistake of getting on facebook before it had aired in Oregon and had it ruined by a Utah person;) No prob though, my silly mistake. I think next week will be amazing...both Adam and Kris are incrediable and will both bring it! I will be super happy with whom ever America decides....but I secretly hope it is Kris! What can I say, I always go for the underdog;)(Plus Kris is a believer;)) Gotta go for the family in Christ ya'll.

So loving the sunshine

We really have been blessed with a pretty dry winter and ok spring! Logan loves to ride his bike! Jason and Logan ride around the neighborhood all the time. We have the PERFECT neighborhood for riding. This evening, I was realizing once again how blessed we are to live where we live. Logan was out blowing bubbles when three of our precious neighbor kids came over to play with him. They really are the sweetest little kids around. It was a perfect evening for Logan and we didn't have to go anywhere!

I Fuzzy Heart Awana

Logan officially completed his first year at Awana!! HE LOVED IT!!!!!!!! He made lots of new friends and learned so much about Jesus! His teacher told me he was the best one at memorizing memory verses and he was one of the youngest ones! He does have a wonderful memory and I am so happy it is full of God's word. During the closing program tonight, he was the only one to say his memory verse outloud! This mama was PROUD:) Logan will be a Cubby again next year because of his age, even though he keeps telling me he wants to be a Sparky;)

I am so thankful for these programs that open up to the preschool age! This age is sooooo important and they soak everything up like sponges. I will enjoy the break this summer but I can't wait for Logan to start up again next year!

Just a few thoughts

Some of these verses are talking to Elders and to young men but I can take SOOOO much out of them. Especailly as a wife and a mommy. I wanted to share them with you all and open my heart with you where God is really trying to change me lately, Boy do I have a long way to go.

This first verse is one that I just keep running through my head since I saw it on our church board on Sunday. Little does Maryanne know how much this verse would affect little old me this week. I am always trying so hard to better myself, my apperance, my home, my kiddos(even my hubby at times) but most of the time I miss the most important thing of all...my spiritual self. This should be my first area...ALWAYS. But yet, I struggle with making it my number one priority so much.

I hope these verses enrich you today as they have me.
Proverbs 31:30 " Charm is decietful, beauty is vain, but the woman who fears the Lord is to be praised."

1 Peter 5: 3-11
3 Don't act as if you were a ruler over those who are under your care. Instead, be examples to the flock. 4 The Chief Shepherd will come again. Then you will receive the crown of glory. It is a crown that will never fade away.
5 Young men, follow the lead of those who are older. All of you, put on a spirit that is free of pride toward each other as if it were your clothes. Scripture says, "God opposes those who are proud. But he gives grace to those who are not." —(Proverbs 3:34) 6 So don't be proud. Put yourselves under God's mighty hand. Then he will honor you at the right time. 7 Turn all your worries over to him. He cares about you.
8 Control yourselves. Be on your guard. Your enemy the devil is like a roaring lion. He prowls around looking for someone to chew up and swallow. 9 Stand up to him. Stand firm in what you believe. All over the world you know that your brothers and sisters are going through the same kind of suffering.
10 God always gives you all the grace you need. So you will only have to suffer for a little while. Then God himself will build you up again. He will make you strong and steady. And he has chosen you to share in his eternal glory because you belong to Christ.
11 Give him the power for ever and ever. Amen.
