Chef Logan

I LOVE my job for many many reasons. One of them being the fact that I can make my very own schedule! I had this whole week off with my kiddos, which I love. There is nothing like just being home!! Logan really wanted to make a macaroni pizza! My friend Abbie had posted this yummy pizza on her facebook a while back and we've been wanting to try it!! SO...step on into our dinner adventure!
All you need is: Boboli pizza crust, Ragu-roasted gralic parmesan , and velveeta shells and cheese!
First you throw the crust in the air;)
Then you SPREAD your yummy cheesy garlic sauce.....PUT LOTS ON!!! Ours needed a little bit more.
Cook your velvetta shells and cheese and spread it all over the top of the pizza!
Smile for your mama on camera! And cook the pizza as the crust directions tell you to.
MMMMMMMMMMM!!!! It was soooooooooooo yummy. We are totally making this again soon!!!!!!!!!!!!

***************5***********************

Our baby boy turned 5 yesterday. I can hardly even believe it. It's one of those weird feelings....it feels like yesterday that we were bringing him home in his little Logan stocking cap but at the same time, I don't even remember what it was like not having that precious boy in my life. God has been so good to me. All I can say is, I AM BLESSED!
Happy Birthday Logan. You are one of the biggest Joys of my life!

This is the Cool way to do it, Mommy

Logan was all ready for school his first day, I asked Logan to put his backpack on and then we would be all ready to go. He then insisted, "mommy, I will put it on, but only ONE strap. It's the cool way to do it" I thought it was so precious, I asked him later where he heard that and he said from his favorite movie. Such a silly boy. But everyday, he does the same thing, only one strap. Cracks me up!!! He LOVES school. Logan got a Good Work Award this week and he was so proud. It said he was a great friend and a hard worker at his math table. I was super thrilled.
Logan would go every day to school if he could but I am so thankful he is only going 2 days a week. This mama's heart isn't ready for full time yet. I did make it through his first day without crying, and but I had a friend say to wear sun glasses that day, just in case my eyes were all red and puffy.....thankfully my eyes weren't because it was SUPER rainy that day and no SUN in sight! lol
So I have to just LAUGH and GIGGLE about the bottom picture. I had a hard time getting peyton to stay OUT of the picture, trying to capture Logan's first school experience but more then anything, I thought it was so sweet that she wanted to be in all the pictures with him. My brother MJ and I have a picture similiar to this on his first day of Kindergarten...though I was nearly as tall as him(since we are 21 months apart) and I was posing my little gymnastics outfit. These days are so special. I am cherishing my time with Peyton but so excited for the new stage for Logan, too. Look out world...my little Motsingers are growing up!

Summer Splash!!!

10 hours of reading in a month! They had so much fun! But can I just say what a challenge it was?? we started a month late for one thing(the program is 2 months long), and then the weeks we had to do it were full of Bend vacation, a week of company, and the fair!!! Plus since neither of my little kiddos read on their own....yep, you guessed it...I had to read them all 1o hours! But my little family loves a challenge and they really enjoyed putting up their stickers each time. As soon as they were all finished we went into our beautiful library(which always feels like Christmas for me) and the kids got to pick out a prize. I even did the adult summer reading program. 8 books in 2 months! I won a t-shirt from a drawing and got a gift card for the library book store! And the nerd that I am...I am totally wearing the t-shirt right now. (it says "I'm a part of the Tillamook County Library."
