Logan has LOVED Christmas this year!! He loves everything about it. He loved the presents(of course), he loved giving presents, He LOVED singing in the Church Candle Light Service and saying, "J is for Jesus," and he has loved singing Christmas Songs. His FAVORITE is: We wish you a Merry Christmas. In fact....he loves it so much that he sings it all day long. Starting about a week ago he starting saying some funny stuff....Like he would say, " I am sorry" and then sing, "And a Happy New Year." Or..."I went number#2", and sing...and a happy new year. So basically after lots of statements, he sings...and "and a happy new year." So cute:)
Just to show you how smart little 3 year olds are...He grabbed a candy cane cookie yesterday...looked at it...turned it upside down and said, "J is for Jesus." I was pretty impressed:)
Well....We hope you had a wonderful Christmas.....And a Happy New year:)

Love has come............
"What kind of King would leave his throne, from Heaven to make this earth his home..While men seek fame and great renown...in lowliness our king came down. You left the sound of Angels praise. To come for men with unkind ways, And by this babies helplessness... the power of nations is laid to rest. What kind of king would come so small...from glory to a humble stale. The dirty manger is my heart too, I'll make it a royal throne for you. Jesus, Jesus...precious one, how I thank you that you've come. Jesus, Jesus Precious one, a manger throne, for God's own son."

Merry "Elfin" Christmas!

Our Christmas Traditions!!
Growing up my parents made CHRISTMAS so much fun. My mom was wonderful at doing projects with us and my parents always enjoyed cozying up with us and watching Christmas movies. This past week we started up our traditions in our small little family. We painted some Christmas ornmanents, decorated our tree, put Christmas lights up outside our house and all over the inside of our house, we made Christmas cookies for our Youth Group party, and we did our yearly ginger bread house...but this year we did a ginger bread train:) I have boughten a kit the last couple years but next year I will probably have to do it from scratch since we will be adding one more kid to the mix! We have had so much fun! Every night we have been reading this book called, J is for Jesus. It is a little Christian story about the candy cane. Logan almost has it memorized. In fact if you ask him..."Logan, Jesus was born on Christmas and later died on the cross...then what did he do? He will say, " He rose again and he is a ive." Such a special time in a child's life. They are soaking so much in at this age!! We just keep feeding him Jesus:)
Everynight last week at 7pm Logan and I turned a Christmas movie on and cuddled and drank peppermint hot cocoa....Logan JUST LOVES THIS! And I do too. I enjoy being a mommy so much!!
Daddy and Logan making yummy peanut butter cookies with kisses in the middle!! Sooo YUMMY!

I'm in love, I'm in love...and I don't care who knows it...
I am in love with our FAKE TREE!!!! I know it sounds crazy and I never ever thought I would say it...BUT I JUST LOVE IT!!!! Being a busy mommy of two kids under the ages of 3 and cleaning over 12 houses in a month more then once(right sarah?), trying to keep my house up, and just normally life things...I AM BUSY!!! And this year when we were ready to get our house ready for Christmas, all I had to say was...Jason...will you pull the tree down from the attic? He got up...got the ladder, grab the tree and with in 20 minutes...my tree was up and ready and LOOKING BEAUTIFUL!!!! I think real trees are a beautiful too but with the stage of life that I am in right now, this is the PERFECT tree for me! And this year..it was free:) So I also saved like $20 -$30!(we got it majorly clearanced last year too).
Christmas time is here and we are just enjoying it so much!!!
Logan watching Frosty the Snowman and playing the "Break the Ice" game with daddy!
Jason is always so awesome about playing with Logan. They are such good buddies!
Laurie captured this picture of Peyton. I just love it so much. It really shows how Peyton is 95% of the time. Just a super happy and beautiful baby girl.
