Feeling like a Whale!

So, I am very much at the point of pregnancy that I feel...well...just like a fat cow;) I know all of you pregnant woman felt the same way right at this point of giving birth to your babies...so I know I will get an amen from you all! I am ready to be able to run again after I eat 12 cookies, I am ready to jump out of bed and not feel like I am going to faint or fall over, I am ready to not have to pee every 5 minutes(no seriously...ask Sarah or Jason), I am ready to breath again, I am ready to sleep on my belly again(totally a belly sleeper...pregnancy kind of disturbs that), I am ready to not forget EVERYTHING, and I am ready to..well..in the next few months, wear my pants again:)
As of right now I am dialated at a two and have been having TONS of contractions. Just not any that have put me into full blown labor yet.
I am super ready to give birth to our little lady but I am also kind of hoping she will wait for a little while longer. YES..I KNOW...I am totally going against what I wrote in my first paragraph...but come on...I am pregnant. I can change my mind in five minutes:) One reason is for her lungs...I want her to be totally cooked before she decides to join our family and secondly there is something about the 2nd baby. Not that I am not as a excited to have her join our family as I was when Logan was born 3 years ago, but this time around...I know what to expect. I know that our lives are totally going to change...in every single way. Of course all for the better in deed but the first few months there are a lot of adjustments, lack of sleep, sore nipples, and well...basically...a scary looking Krista roaming around Tillamook. I have never done well with lack of sleep and no routine! I guess I am like a little kid in that way! BUT...at least this time around I know what to expect...I know that I will probably be a little moody for the first few months and I was already appologizing to Jason for it today;) heehee
With all of those things said, I also can't wait for her to join us. I know...I changed it again :) I can't wait to see what our little one looks like...will she look just like her brother? Or will she be totally opposite of him. Will she be a good sleeper? Will she be a good nurser? Will she be chubby like Logan was;) Will she be totally girly like her mommy? Or will she wanna chum with the boys?

Though I feel like a big whale....and I long to meet our little girl...I am cherishing my last couple weeks of normal routine...until we find our new normal routine with baby and a preschooler! Thankfully I have a wonderful husband who will be helping me a long the way;) I am super lucky in that department! I will keep you all updated til our little girl arrives
PS....we decided to wait in deciding on the name til she arrives:)

Wedding Bells, Waddling Down the Aisle, and "Wing Bear" fun

My flower girl days:) 1987(I think)

On New Years of this last year, I got a phone call from my sweet friend Jackie! She had a super excited tone in her voice....she said,"Josh purposed...and I said yes!! Will you be in my wedding, July 26th, 2008?" I said, "OF COURSE....but....I also have news for you...I will be just about 8 1/2 months pregnant!!" She laughed and got excited and said, "well, we will just have to get you a different dress then the other girls:)!" So..we both got to share exciting and life changin news with each other that day. Jackie did find me the cutest dress that I could have asked for...infact...I think I liked it better then the bridemaid's, heehee.

Now, I have to share a few things leading up to this day. I have only been in three weddings in my entire life....well...three that I actually was walking down the aisle during. One was when I was like 6, I was a flower girl at my Aunt Kim's wedding probably like 1987....Second one was my very own wedding, 2004, and 3rd was my brother's wedding 2006!! I never really thought I would be in very many weddings. I have always been a friend to everyone!!! But, I have really only had a few best friends that would even consider me to be in their wedding. I tease my best friend Amybeth because she was one wedding I knew I would be in and she eloped to Hawaii, lol!!! But I was her bridemaid in spirit;) I have been pregnant for about 8 1/2 months and have been in 2 weddings this pregnancy;) LOL...I really do think it is funny that when I am actually in the weddings, I am waddling down the aisle....truely has been a humbling experience, heehee!

Jackie's wedding was amazing....TOTALLY Christ centered and beautiful! Jackie and Josh love each other so much and are a PERFECT match!!! Logan was priveldged to be asked to be Jackie's ring bear....or "wing bear" as he would say it. Infact the day of the wedding he was hoping his cousin Madison could be a "wing bear" with him. He adores his cousin Maddie. Logan did wonderful....drag the cute little flower girl down the aisle with him...but other then that, he was adoreable and did a great job. Logan isn't even 3 yet!!! I was so proud of him!

Saturday was a special day!!! Jackie has been waiting for her hubby...she has been very picky...she wanted to marry a strong Christian man and she was willing to wait til her perfect match appeared. God is sooo good and he is sooo faithful to those that honor him~ Congrats Jackie...may God bless you with LOTS OF babies and may God continue to work in both you and Josh's lives as I have seen it so much the last couple of years!!!

The sweet couple! They will have beautiful babies!!

Logan, Jackie, and Rachel....Logan isn't even three and Rachel just turned 7...Logan is just a little shorter then Rachel....I have such a tall boy;)
Jackie and I!

July 24, 2004-------4 years of total Joy:)

Jason and I have been married for 4 years! I could not ask for a more Godly and perfect husband. I am so thankful that my parents and grandparents prayed for my husband since the day I was born. All I can say is I see God's hand in the man I married more then I could ever explain or express. Jason is my second half. He is my best friend. I couldn't imagine this journey without him. Jason and I when we were engaged.
Wedding pics!
This day I married my best friend!
This is right after he saw me for the first time on our wedding day.
Jason is a wonderful provider and a wonderful husband. If I could give anyone any advice of what I have learned after 4 years of marriage it would be.....Selflessness. Jason has taught me this in every way. He is the most selfless person I know. Always putting Logan and I first in every way. He has taught me to be the same way and we really have a wonderful marriage! I love you Jason David Motsinger. I look forward to many more years to come!!!!

To France for the sake of eternity!

Don't ya ever just need a good reminder or wake up call when it comes to Eternity and where those around you are going to spend it? Fronter School of the Bible was a season of my life that was the most life changing and impacting season of my entire life(other then marriage and my babies). I was surrounded by wonderful Christain young adults who had a passion for Jesus and spreading the good news. I was lucky enough to score one of them as a sister in law(Morgy) and to still be best friends with another(Amybeth). But this week I was blessed with a visit with an ol' FSB pal. The first two things that I remember about meeting Seth Westhoff would be his laugh....for a small guy you could hear him anywhere in the room when he laughed. Just priceless. The other thing I remember from the start about him was his love and passion for the people of France. Seth loves France and Jesus and has been working ever since(6years later) to get to France and win people for Christ. Seth is super close to raising all his support. Please be praying for him in the next month as he travels to more church's to raise his last little bit. God is going to use this man to do Mighty things. I can't wait to hear what God has in store.
Morgan, Anni, Me, and Seth!

To be or not to be....that is the question!

So....as you all know, Jason and I are expecting a little girl very soon. Infact if you look at it this way, anytime in the next four weeks, though I am sure it will be the later! I am officially going to be induced either the 15th or the 18th....we are voting more for the 18th...let our little girl cook the full 40 weeks;) I am super excited and really reality is hitting me that it will happen...yes, in the next month. I am painting her room this weekend( I have permission from my dr, ya'll...I know you were all thinking...WHAT your painting her room?? YES and I painted Logan's room too) Jason and I decided on the name Zoey, the day we found out God was blessing us with a BEAUTIFUL little girl. I already know how beautiful she is because, Good golly, have you not seen her handsome brother Logan???:) Well, before we ever picked the name Zoey, we had a name list that looked like this:
Zoey Lenae Motsinger
Olivia Lenae Motsinger
Mylee Lenae Motsinger
Haylee Lenae Motsinger
All of these names....we both LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So, the other night Jason and I were talking....Jason said he is really falling in love with the name Mylee....not that he doesn't love Zoey but is thinking Mylee may be perfect for our little girl. So...I have decided to let Jason decide. I love all the names on the list above...my favorites are Mylee and Zoey...but I am letting Daddy name his little girl. We will see what Jason decides:) Of course, if Jason all the sudden picked a HORRIBLE name...no worries, I will let my opinion be heard, lol! But...I really think he will pick one from our list.
So....No later then August 18th or 19th.....we will find out what our little girl's name will be...it will be fun to see what my man decides! Pray for me these last few weeks. That God allows me to get the last few things done that I am hoping too and that our baby is SUPER healthy and that she is a wonderful nurser:) Love you all!

Get 'er Done!!

I would like to take a moment to BRAG about my husband! Jason had 5 days off last weekend during the 4th! He CHOSE to work on our NEW BEAUTIFUL FENCE 1 1/2 of those days....the other 1 1/2 days he helped my daddy tear down two of his decks, do to a remodel they are starting! Jason could have said, "babe...I need a break this weekend...lets just relax and enjoy ourselves and do our fence later." I would have said, "sounds awesome Jason, you need a break." BUT, my amazingly hard working man gave up 3 of his days of vacation and worked his BUTT OFF!!!! Our fence is nearly done, four more panels and a gate to go..he is hoping to finish it up in the next week or two, depending on help! Thanks Jason for being such a hard working man!!! YOU ROCK!!!!!!!!!(ps. a Special thanks to Bus Papa too because we couldn't have done it with out you....or Logan...who poured the water for the cement!. What awesome helpers)

Logan and Bus Papa slaving away on mommy's fence!
Such hard workers!
I will post pics of the finished product! Next project...GRASS!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe I got an award!!!

My blogger friend Abbie gave me this super neat award!!! Of course she gave it to me because we are totally in the same stage with our little toddlers and we are both going to be giving birth at some point in the next 3 months:) I think I am like 5 weeks ahead of Abbie...don't quote me though! This is a super neat award because it is supposed to help raise awareness for organ donation!! All you ladies and men need to consider this and get it put on your license!
I am going to pass this award on to two people:
http://jessijobarber.blogspot.com/ Jessi: because she is ready to give birth to her first baby girl!!! I am so excited for her and I am even more excited for her, because that gets me closer to my date;)
And secondly...I pass this award on to Sarah:http://motziemom.blogspot.com/ because she is a super good friend and she scrubs toilets with me at least two days a week! You rock Sarah!!
Keep this award going ladies;)

Keeping my Spiritual Life Watered during the warm dry summer!

I have been trying so hard to be in God's word everyday! It seems to be a struggle for me because I am so busy. I get up in the morning and either have buckets to wash, houses to clean, a little man who needs me, or my home projects! BUT...when I go through a dry spell of not being in God's word...boy can I ever tell. Especially in my attitude towards others and my love for others. I have been trying to read first thing in the morning! So far it is working!:) This morning's daily bread was sooooo good for me to read. I wanted to share the verses that were a long with it! They are very convicting and very much what I needed to read this morning! If anyone else is interested in checking out the daily bread devotional, I do it online! http://www.rbc.org/odb/odb.shtml

"Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. 4Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.
5Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: 6Who, being in very nature[a] God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, 7but made himself nothing, taking the very nature[b] of a servant, being made in human likeness. 8And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death— even death on a cross! 9Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, 10that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." Philippians 2: 3-11

Fourth Weekend! FULL OF FUN!!!!

This Summer Logan has just LOVED the water! From squirt guns, to swimming, to fun sprinklers! What kid doesn't just love water fun? Infact, Logan has really had the hugest obsession with squirt guns! He asks daddy all day long, "wanna play squirt guns, daddy?" The other day he was going potty and he looked down at his peepee and said, "Mommy, this my very own squirt gun,!!" LOL....I laughed and said, "yes but we only squirt the toilet with it." He said, "ya mommy." Funny little boy.

We got Logan this super fun sprinkler from Freddys! He just loves it! He really enjoyed it a Bus Papa's this weekend.
Bus Gram is always pulling out activites for Logan!!! From walks outside, to painting, to playdo, to reading books, eating popcorn and watching movies, or just sitting down and playing with a bunch of us canady kids old toys! Gram and Logan have really became buddies this summer!
Amybeth surprised me and was at the Cloverday's Parade on Saturday!!! It meant the world to me to see my bestest friend!
Logan and Bus Papa were in the Parade on Saturday! Dad loves to show off his 63 bug that he restored and of course loves even more showing off his Favorite Grandson!! Logan had fun waving his flag and showing of his spiderman toy!! Thanks Papa for inviting Logan!
We ended our weekend with a fun day at LC Pool!!! They have this AWESOME kiddy pool! Logan and daddy played squirt guns and Logan got brave and wondered all around the pool. We got him these goggles at the dollars store and the little man loved them. They were pretty much foggy the whole time but he didn't want to take them off;) Note to self, never by squirt guns or goggles at the dollars store. They leak like crazy;)

Finger lickin' good BBQ and Scaring the Pee out of ya fireworks!

We had a wonderful Fourth of July! It began with a yummy BBQ at Michael
and Sarah's and ended with FUN fireworks at Grandma Debbies!!
Logan had so much fun playing outside for over 3 hours with his cousins! He was sooooooooo tired afterwards. Then Daddy and Uncle Michael took Logan, Reece, and Collin to an arcade in Rockaway to "play video games," as Logan kept saying, over and over...."wanna play video games??" Yes, they start super young in the Motsinger family!
Laurie got a pic of me 34 weeks prego with Zoey Lenae! Thanks Laurie!
Here are all the Motsinger Cousins!!! Logan is so lucky to live so close to them all!
Daddy and his little shadow, swinging away! Aren't my boys super handsome?
So, Logan really enjoyed the sparklers this year!! He enjoyed the fireworks at first...keep saying, "awesome," "Nice," and, "Cool." But, the fireworks that daddy worked so hard on lighting, scared the PEE out of him eventually. NO JOKE!!!! He was super scared, especially when they made loud popping noises. He had been sitting on Grandma's lap and when she got up...her lap was all wet! Poor little guy. That was only like the 4th accident he has had since he became potty trained....I felt bad for the little guy. I am sure next year he will be right down there by daddy, helping get the fireworks going:)
Hope everyone else had as good of a fourth as we did:):):):):)

Switchfoot...you are still my Fav!

My little Logy woke me up early because he had to go potty....and I couldn't go back to sleep. So I decided it was time to fix up my little Music thing for my blog here. Figured it was time to change things up. I added a few of my favorite songs for right now. Then I decided to look up my all time favorite group, Switchfoot! As I poured through the music....I was brought back to a different time. You see, Switchfoot was one of the first groups I ever got super excited for! I will thank my brother MJ for that. We had gone to Jesus Northwest back when I was like 15 and MJ spent a TON of money on cd's for all these new Christian groups! Switchfoot was one of them....also among them was Skillet and Supertones!(which are also still some of my favs.) Being a pastor's kid, my parents were actually really cool about the music we got to listen too. They pretty much let us pick out whatever we wanted...as long as it was CLEAN and Uplifting! After many battles between my parents and MJ with music....we all picked out our favorites! Switchfoot was that band that we all loved!!! The words of their songs just touched my life!! I felt like every song was talking to me...like they could read my mind! They were my escape when I just couldn't do it anymore, when the pressure of this WORLD was to much....they were a cd I could just turn on and lay on my bed and escape to a different place too. During my times of searching....during the time that I made my Faith...truely My own. During times that I didn't think my parents and my brother would ever get a long....during times that I had a big crush on a boy and that boy didn't feel the same.....when I was so unbearably lonely at Frontier that I couldnt' stand it....when all my friends where dating someone, and I was all alone.....on snowy trips to Denver to get to the airport for a good friend of mine(good thing I did...since we now share brothers as husbands(lol))......Switchfoot was there. When I wasn't sure who I was, when I was searching for people to except me for me, when all my friends were partying and I was at home, doing nothing.....God blessed me with this wonderful escape to Switchfoot. It sounds sort of silly, and sorry daddy if this isn't biblical, heehee, but Switchfoot helped get me on Fire for Jesus. It made me want to get deeper in my relationship with my Savior! I am so thankful that my parents didn't hinder my music so much that I wouldn't have been able to find this group. They were my tunes!!!:) I am sure you all have a group like that. And YES...I have many more...but switchfoot is truelly the biggest music influence in my life:) I hope you enjoy some of their music when you come to my blog. If not...no biggy. They are just a little piece into me! Happy listening!

Few More Hoopfest Pics!

I couldn't resist, I had to add a few more Hoopfest pics!!! I did capture one pretty Lady:) This is the gang minus, Morgan and Anni, and Sarah and the kiddos!
I had to put this picture because I asked Reece to pose and he said he wanted to be under water for the pic:) Notice him in the back, under water;)

Logan showing off his new outfit from Aunt Sarah!!!! Thanks SARAH!!!!

Above is Logan with his sweet little Cousins sharing Snowcones. Logan is soooooo dirty! That's what being a boy is all about:) Below is Logan enjoying his movies on the way to Hoopfest! Thank goodness for portable DVD players.
Below is the kiddos trying to stay cool. These nice guys kepted giving them otter pops. They were so generous. Of course, who could resist this cute kids:)
I did have one photo Jason took of me on the way to Hoopfest. Don't you love my driving shades? LOL!
This is Logan sleeping on our LONG walk back to our car. He was so tired. But really, All of our kids did such a great job that day!!! We are all blessed with wonderful kiddos.

Hoopfest and Other Fun Summer Adventures!

This summer we have been trying to take Logan to the beach as much as Jason and I can possibly take him. He LOVES THE BEACH!! Daddy makes him sandcastles(there is a pic below) and Logan stomps on them. Totally makes it for a fun day!
While I cleaned houses the other day, Jason surprised me and cut Logan's hair. Now, usually he needs me because Logan FLIPS out with his hair gets cut. He hates the little hairs falling on him while daddy uses the shaver. This time to get Logan distracted, Jason drew a Ninja Turtle on a trashbag and let Logan color on it too. Amazing what will make a child happy:) His hair cut turned out perfect too:) Thanks Daddy!
This weekend 3 other families and our lil' family headed to Spokane WA for Hoopfest, a 3 0n 3 b-ball tourney! Michael and Sarah's fam, Reuben and Monica's fam, Ryan and Morgan's fam, and us. We had such a blast with everyone! As Sarah said, we felt like we just went away for the weekend with friends, not family! Thats how much we all love each other;):) Here is a pic of Reuben, Mike, and Jason. Ryan was there too but some how missed this pic.
We walked FOREVER trying to find our hubby's b-ball court. Hoopfest is the HUGE TOURNEY that shuts down all of down town Spokane and they make courts in parking lots and roads. After we finally found the court we let our kiddos rest up a little. Then right after our men's first game, we had a few hours to take all the cutie pies to a park and sweet Monica treated the kids to snowcones! Yummy! Especially since it was probably 97 degrees that day! Us coastal people aren't use to that;)Logan got to swim 3 days in a row, which he loves to do. He loves being in the water!!! We felt blessed that everyone shared their pools with us! We got a hotel that didn't have one! So thanks for sharing guys!!!! You made my little guys trip super special!
Sadly, I don't really have a picture of us lovely ladies. For one, we were always the ones behind the camera, I did get a cute one of Sarah but she may not have wanted me to put it on the website...she may know why, lol:) I will send the pic to you Sarah and see if I get approval;) And I don't know how I didn't get one picture of little Anni and Morgan. Next year I will need to be a better picture taker. Plus, I won't be 7 1/2 months prego....so...I may be more willing to be in some pictures, lol!
Here's a shot of Logan about ready to stomp on daddy's sand castles!!!

We had such a great time at hoopfest that we have already booked our hotel rooms for next year!!! Such a fun thing to look forward to again next year!!!!
